Yael Strasberg is the Creator Network Director for Acast Canada, where she heads up the content team and leads the acquisitions and development slate for the Canadian Market. In her time at Acast, she has been instrumental in expanding the Canadian Creator Network by working with independent podcasts like Canadian True Crime, Couple Ouvert, Under The Influence with Terry O’Reilly, Island Crime, Over n Out, Scamanda, Tout le monde s'haït, Prends Un Break, Au Parloir, Adam Wylde & Jax Show, The Papaya Podcast as well as high profile networks like Canadaland, The Nation Network, Snack Labs, Kelly & Kelly, The Sonar Network, Lionsgate Sound, URBANIA Media, KO Scene, Antica Productions - and many more! Yael has also led the acquisition and development of brand new podcasts by beloved Canadian talent such as Jessi Cruickshank & Morgann Book.

Prior to joining Acast, Yael spent eleven years working at Entertainment One Films, Canada’s largest independent distribution company as the Director of Acquisitions leading the team in acquiring theatrical films. Prior to joining eOne, Yael held positions at Sony BMG Films and Untitled Entertainment in New York. She is currently based in Toronto.
