Laura Knop-Wright is an award-winning Canadian broadcast journalist and educator with more than four decades of experience in radio, journalism and media education. A SAIT graduate, Laura held senior roles in Calgary radio, including News Director at QR77 and Editor and Anchor at 660 News, before returning to SAIT as an instructor in 2013.

At SAIT, Laura has helped shape the next generation of media professionals while exploring the evolving intersection of technology, storytelling and journalism. Most recently, she led an AI and podcasting research initiative that contributed to the development of a new podcasting course at SAIT.
